Error 1022

hydrodelta
Hi
I am trying to import a csv table using ILWIS 3.8.5.0.
One of the columns is also the table domain and it is associated with the domain named St_nr.dom

I get the following error message:

C:\working\St_nr.dom
Creation error; Object still open
(ILWIS Error 1022)

It looks like as if the domain is open. I checked and there is nothing open.

I created a fresh directory and copied the original ILWIS and csv files before any analysis and I still get the same error.

The strange thing is that this same procedure worked a year before with a previous version of ILWIS. I thought it was a bug in my current version of ILWIS so I used the older versión of ILWIS (on a fresh directory but on the same computer), with the same results.

Thanks for your help.

Hugo.

Hi, I figure it out after a few hours of trying. I was using a working directory just under the root directory and by default windows makes this type of directories read-only. When I tried to execute the instruction, ILWIS needs writing permissions on the domains, and crashes. I moved the data to a directory in the Desktop and making sure it was not read-only and that solved the problem.

This problem made me aware of the forum, so my time was not entirely wasted. I am glad.
