Running ILWIS tasks from command line

alexs
Hi all,

is it possible to run ILWIS analysis (for exmaple single algorithm or more complex script) from command line? This is may be necessary for batch processing of multiple files or in more complex tasks where ILWIS only is a block.

I googled, as some sites told me that there is a ILWISClient application which can run single algs/scrips and accept arguments from command line. But I can't find this app in my ILWIS installation (downloaded from http://52north.org/downloads/ilwis, ILWIS 3.08.04) and also can't find any documentation on this topic.

Can anyone point me on documentation about using ILWISClient application and also give a correct download link for complete
ILWIS package with all necessary executables.

Thanks,
Alex

Yes ilwis can run from the command line. Basically when you do

Ilwis.exe  -C <any valid ilwis command>

It will not start the desktop client and exits after the command is finished.

So am I right that I can run ILWIS scripts from command line just by passing
path to script file and then paths to raster/vector data? Something like this

ilwis.exe -C d:\scripts\ndvi.isl d:\data\img1.tif d:\data\img2.tif
