Show Stereo Pair as Anaglyph not adding images

GeoJosh
Hello,

I am working with two scanned aerial photos from the 1960s on a Windows 7 machine using Ilwis 3.8.5.0. I am able to create an Epipolar Stereo Pair without any problems (I think), but when I try to view the stereo pair as an anaglyph the viewer opens without any layers. If I add the two photos I want to see, they do not overlap and are in black and white (not red/green or red blue). I do not even see where to change the colors. Should I georeference the photos before creating a stereo pair? When I try to view the stereo pair with the stereoscope it brings up the photos. I have tried this using imported Tiffs and Jpeg photos. I believe that there is something I am doing wrong or that I have installed something incorrectly. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciate.

Josh

Hi! Using ILWIS for image processing and analysis (and also for teaching the same) during 20+ years I've never used it for viewing anaglyph images. There is a very simple Sterephotomaker which helps to create pairs for view:  http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/stphmkr/ . It needs no georeference

Hi!

The "stereopair as anaglyph" application isn't converted to ILWIS 3.8.x
yet (OpenGL drawing). It is planned for 3.8.6 (expected by before the
end of this year), along with the on-screen digitizer.
You could use a previous version (ILWIS 3.7.2).
In 3.7.2 you can use the on-screen digitizer in "stereo-viewing" mode,
in both the stereoscope and the anaglyph.
