Thanks for the offer but I am afraid Ilwis 3.31 wasn't open sourced yet that happened after that. The current version Ilwis 3.8.4 ( and the up coming 3.8.5) are much easier to translate ( see also http://blog.52north.org/2011/12/12/babel/). The only caveat I have: the Ilwis3 line doesn't support Unicode, I don't know how much a problem that is with cyrilic alphabet. Ilwis4, which is now under development, does support Unicode.
3.6 and later can use the dos command line to pass operations to Ilwis 3. If R stat is able to create shell commands, that could work. It is ofc a primitive workaround but it functions quite well. I have seen people using ilwis from excel in this way.
