Re: USING THE GEONETCASTtoolbox

Bas Retsios
Hi!

The instruction for this can be found on the 52north.org website, under the "Earth Observation" community, which is maintained by mr. Ben Maathuis.

Go to this link, and click "Getting Started" in the menu on the left.

Re: ISOD TOOLBOX

Bas Retsios
Sir,

Thank you for finding this, it is a problem in the GSOD script. I have attached a corrected version.
How to install it:
1. Close ILWIS
2. Save the attached file "GSOD_station_import.bat" in folder ILWIS372\Extensions\ISOD-Toolbox\toolbox_batchroutines (ILWIS372 is simply the folder of your ILWIS). Say YES to overwrite the existing file.
3. Start ILWIS and re-try the Import.

Alternatively, in case this attachment is blocked by a virus scanner, you can edit and correct the file yourself, as follows:
1. Close ILWIS
2. Use the Windows Exporer to navigate to folder ILWIS372\Extensions\ISOD-Toolbox\toolbox_batchroutines
3. Find the file "GSOD_station_import.bat". Click on it with the RIGHT mouse button, and select "Edit".
4. Find the line that starts with ""%IlwDir%\ilwis.exe" -C %OutputDrive%\%OutputDir%\st_%GSODstation%_%shortfilename1%.tbt=table(" and add the blue text shown in the screenshot:

5. Save the file, and close Notepad
6. Start ILWIS and re-try the Import

Best regards,

Bas Retsios
